Local to Caledon

Country roads are part of the care plan.

Caledon is where the GTA turns into long driveways and longer winters — and where a missed visit costs the most, because there’s no neighbour two doors down to check in. We staff it from our Brampton home base, minutes away, and we plan routes the way locals drive them: Bolton and Palgrave in one loop, Caledon East and Inglewood in another.

The promise doesn’t change with the postal code: a lead caregiver who knows the routine, a trained backup who knows the plan, and a care manager who tells you about small changes before they become large ones.

Caledon has no hospital of its own, so recovery usually means coming home from Brampton Civic or Peel Memorial with a long drive and a longer list of instructions. We take those handoffs, with an RN reading the discharge notes before the first visit.

Built for how Caledon lives

Care that works at the end of a gravel driveway.

Estate homes near Belfountain. Multigenerational households in Bolton. A widowed parent alone on a rural road nobody plows first.

Rural care runs on reliability more than anything else: the arrival your parent can set a watch by, the caregiver who cooks a real lunch because the nearest takeout is a fifteen-minute drive, the companionship that breaks a long, quiet week. For Bolton’s multilingual households, we include language in the match and confirm current caregiver availability before care starts.

From the first call onward you deal with one care manager who owns the plan. See how it works →

What it costs

Caledon pricing, with nothing buried.

Private care starts at $35/hour with no admin fees; any minimum visit length is explained before care starts. You get the breakdown in writing on the free call. If care follows a car accident, a workplace injury, or newcomer status, a qualifying program may cover some or all of the cost. When approved, we bill the program directly, and your out-of-pocket cost may be little or $0.

Caledon questions

What Caledon families ask us.

Yes — Caledon is next door, not an outpost. Our home base is Brampton, minutes down Highway 10, and Bolton, Caledon East, Caledon Village, Inglewood and Palgrave are all regular territory. Your care manager builds the schedule around real Caledon distances, so visits hold in February the way they hold in June.
Usually within 24 hours of your complimentary consultation. Caledon has no hospital of its own, so discharges tend to come home from Brampton Civic or Peel Memorial — we aim to have a caregiver at the door within 24 to 48 hours of that call.
The full range: personal care, companionship, dementia care, respite for family caregivers, overnight and live-in care, and RN visits for clinical needs. Language matching is available when a suitable caregiver is available, and we confirm it on the first call.
It may. Ontario Health atHome hours can run alongside private care, extended health benefits may contribute, and where care follows a car accident (HCAI) or workplace injury (WSIB), the program may cover care. When approved, we bill it directly. Caledon Community Services also runs local senior programs worth asking about — we'll point you there when they fit. We check every route on the free call.

Care in Caledon can begin in as little as 24 hours.
